Rays Experts commissions 600 MW of solar parks in Rajasthan

Indian solar parks builder Rays Power Experts Pvt Ltd has successfully commissioned six photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the state of Rajasthan representing a total capacity of 600 MW.
The company has spent some INR 30 billion (USD 409m/EUR 346.5m) on the six projects located mainly in the districts of Bikaner and Jodhpur, says a company statement quoted by the Press Trust of India (PTI).
Over the next two years, Rays Experts intends to invest a further INR 500 million in Rajasthan, where its current order book stands at 250 MW. According to managing director and CEO Rahul Gupta, the state has more than 15 GW of solar projects in the planning stage, to be realised over the next three years.
The goal of the company is to achieve 1 GW of installed solar capacity by the end of 2021.
