Ralf Luedemann heads Schmid’s energy storage operations

Dec 7, 2012 - German process solutions provider Schmid Group said Friday it had appointed Ralf Luedemann as head of the company’s energy storage business unit and advisor to the photovoltaic (PV) related business units.

The appointment of Luedemann entered into effect in November.

Prior to Luedemann, the energy storage division was temporarily headed by Frank Fuchs. The division is of particular importance for Schmid Group’s strategy to enter new markets and expand even further its product range.

Luedemann joins Schmid Group from German solar power systems maker SolarWorld AG (ETR:SWV) where he spent the last 10 years of his career. In total, he has over 20 years of experience in the PV sector.
