Queiroz Galvao Energia is looking for a partner to invest the Brazilian firm's 670 MW of operational wind and hydro assets, and 415 MW of wind projects in progress.
The latter projects are located in Piaui state and are expected to be completed in December 2015 and December 2016.
The firm's director of engineering, Luciano Freire, told Reuters that searching for partner is part of its strategy since the company's inception in 2012.
The main focus of the partnership will be Queiroz Galvao wind farms. The company has invested about BRL 3.5 billion (USD 1.1bn/EUR 1bn) in the sector and has plants based in the states of Ceara and Rio Grande do Norte, totaling about 343 MW in operation.
The company also has 650 MW of projects likely to be enrolled in the upcoming energy auctions, although the decision to participate in this year's tenders has not been made, Reuters said, citing Freire.
