(SeeNews) - Apr 23, 2013 - US thin-film solar firm Ascent Solar Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:ASTI) said yesterday it had struck an agreement with British consultancy Power IT-2-Channel to market its consumer solutions in the UK.
As part of the deal, the British firm will distribute Ascent Solar's EnerPlex series of products, including portable solar-powered batteries integrated phone cases and portable solar chargers.
Via the partnership, Ascent Solar will be able to expand its operations in the UK and become a major company on the consumer electronics and speciality outdoor gear markets, the company's vice president of sales and marketing Rob Roche said.
