Oct 25, 2012 - The Provincial Specialised Hospital in the city of Lodz, central Poland, on Tuesday officially commissioned a 219-kW photovoltaic (PV) system.
The solar system, which includes PV panels spanning on 2,000 sq m (21,500 sq ft) area at the hospital, is expected to produce 150 MWh of electricity, the hospital said in a statement yesterday.
The project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme for the Lodz province for 2007-2013 and by the budget of the Lodz province.
