Vietnamese photovoltaics (PV) manufacturer Boviet Solar Technology Co Ltd said today it has won a master supply agreement for more than 700 MW of bifacial solar modules from Origis Energy in the US.
The American solar project developer has ordered 550-W Vega Series PERC monocrystalline - bifacial double-glass PV modules for delivery next year. The announcement does not mention specific projects.
In June, Boviet Solar also unveiled a couple of similar contracts in the US for a total of 393 MW of Vega Series modules. In those cases, however, it did not disclose the names of the customers.
Boviet Solar is a subsidiary of Boway Group. Its US headquarters are located in San Jose, California.
