Origis Energy forms solar and energy storage O&M subsidiary

March 19 (Renewables Now) - Florida-based Origis Energy USA has created a subsidiary dedicated to the provision of operation and maintenance (O&M) services to solar and energy storage plants, it announced on Monday.

The new unit is called Origis Services LLC and has its headquarters in Austin, Texas. It will offer O&M and asset management services to plants within the parent company’s pipeline, as well as third party services, starting with a portfolio that exceeds 500 MW of combined capacity.

The expansion plans of Origis Services include an advanced Remote Operations Control Centre located in Austin.

Michael Eyman, a former SunPower employee, will lead the new firm as managing director.
