Diversified energy services platform operator Orbital Energy Group Inc (NASDAQ:OEG) said today that one of its units has won a contract to build a 100-MW solar farm in the Southeastern US.
The newly-awarded engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract calls for Orbital Solar Services (OSS) to deliver a utility-scale solar array of 350,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels installed across 800 acres of land.
The job is expected to be carried out in early 2022.
While the announcement does not name the customer, OSS’ chief executive officer Brandon Martin said that this is the second project “with an industry-leading, energy company” and later also referred to it as a “large-scale energy producer”.
