Opel Technologies obtains USD-5m loan

Nov 29, 2011 - High concentration photovoltaics (HCPV) maker Opel Technologies Inc (CVE:OPL), formerly Opel Solar International Inc, yesterday said it had obtained a credit line of USD 5 million (EUR 3.7m) from Silicon Valley Bank, part of SVB Financial Group (NASDAQ:SIVB).

Opel Technologies, which also develops semiconductor devices, said it would use the facility to fund US and qualified foreign receivables.

The company's operations are based in Shelton, Connecticut, and its head office is in Toronto, Canada.
