January 8 (Renewables Now) - Solar project developer ReneSola (NYSE:SOL) has agreed to offload a 15-MW solar portfolio in Hungary to Denmark-based renewables investor and asset manager Obton.

The portfolio includes 25 solar farms under development in three locations. The projects are eligible for Hungary's feed-in tariff scheme.

The latest deal comes after in October ReneSola signed an agreement to sell 13.9 MW of solar projects in Hungary to Obton.

"Obton is an outstanding partner for us, and we are thrilled to complete our second sale to them. We look forward to future collaboration in Hungary and other regions of Europe," ReneSola's CEO for Europe, Josef Kastner said.
