Indian power producer NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) last week launched tenders for three solar projects totalling 102 MW in the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka.
Through the invitation for bids (IFB), the company is seeking engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors for the three separate projects, it announced on its website. The first call is for the 65-MW Kawas photovoltaic (PV) project in Gujarat, with a final deadline for submitting bids on July 11. The second one is for a 22-MW scheme in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, with a deadline on July 18.
NTPC is also looking for an EPC contractor to develop a 15-MW solar project at the premises of its office Kayamkulam in Kerala. Proposals in this tender are due by July 16.
All three projects will be developed on a turnkey basis under open category in terms of module procurement. The scope of work includes the design, EPC, testing and commissioning of the particular PV plants. Successful bidders will also provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a three-year period in each case.
