Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Aug 8-12)
Aug 12, 2022 17:43 CESTJanuary 14 (Renewables Now) - German wind turbine supplier Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) will equip a 165-MW wind project in Chile under a newly-announced contract from an undisclosed customer.
The company said today it will supply 29 units of its N163/5.X turbines and service them for an initial period of two years. The Premium Service contract comes with various options to extend it up to 15 years.
Nordex will deliver and install the machines this upcoming autumn, while commissioning is planned to begin in late 2022.
The German firm unveiled this contract alongside a separate order from Statkraft in relation to an 80-MW project in Brazil.
