Nordex gets turbine order for 177-MW wind project in Peru

November 25 (Renewables Now) - Germany’s Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) said on Thursday that it has booked an order to supply its turbines for a 177-MW wind farm project in Peru.

Information about the customer and the project was not disclosed.

Nordex will deliver 30 units of the Delta4000 N155/5.X turbines for the project. The machines have a rotor diameter of 155 metres and a flexible rating in the 5-MW class.

The order includes a ten-year full-service contract, the turbine maker said.

The wind farm will be located in Peru’s Ica region, with the construction set to commence in autumn 2022.
