Located near the runway of Hultsfred airport in Smaland, the Hultsfred solar farm is connected to the electricity network operated by E.on in southern Sweden. The plant will be run under a long-term <a href="https://renewablesnow.com/news/neoen-alight-clinch-90-mwp-swedish-solar-ppa-with-hm-808027/" target="_blank">power purchase agreement </a>(PPA) with Swedish fashion chain H&M Group, providing 95% of its energy and guarantees of origin to the clothing retailer and supporting its goal to source only renewable electricity by 2030.
