Sep 5, 2013 - Taiwanese solar cell maker Neo Solar Power Corp (TPE:3576), or NSP, yesterday posted revenues of TWD 2.1 billion (USD 71m/EUR 54) for August 2013, up 98.65% year-on-year.
In month-on-month terms revenue inched up by 4.8%, marking the eighth month in a row with higher revenues. Neo Solar noted that the improvement was due to the “rather stable” average selling prices coupled with increased shipments.
For the first eight months of 2013 the company reported revenues of TWD 10.78 billion or 18.09% more than in the same period of 2012.
In June Neo Solar wrapped up its merger with domestic sector player Delsolar Co Ltd (TPE:3599).
