Meyer Burger supplies solar modules for new stadium in Switzerland

Sep 21, 2011 - Swiss solar technology firm Meyer Burger (SWF:MBTN) said today it has delivered the solar modules for the rooftop photovoltaic system of the newly-built Arena Thun stadium.

The solar facility will be connected to the network on September 28. The 1,700 modules will produce about 360,000 KWh of energy per year, covering the annual needs of about 80 households.

The modules have been supplied by Meyer Burger's member 3S Photovoltaics.
