Long-duration storage firm Energy Dome secures USD 11m in bridge funding round
Jun 30, 2022 15:00 CESTJanuary 31 (Renewables Now) - KPower Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a letter of award from Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd to procure the equipment and organise the logistics for the installation of a 50-MW solar farm in Malaysia.
The company will also be in charge of equipment testing and maintenance, alongside other tasks, parent company, KPower Bhd (KLSE:KPOWER), said on Friday. The contract price is MRY 105 million (USD 25m/EUR 22m) and there will be no price fluctuations.
A sub-contract agreement is to be signed in the current quarter.
The solar power plant has to be up and ready to run by February 28, 2023. KPower Engineering will be able to commence work after Fabulous Sunview issues a notice to proceed.
