Among the three leaders in Taiwan’s solar cell market, only Motech Industries’ (TPO:6244) November 2015 sales went up in annual terms, monthly financial information on their websites shows.
On a month-on-month basis, again only Motech’s top line result managed to improve as it grew by 8.55%. In the meantime, Neo Solar Power Corp (TPE:3576) and Gintech Energy Corp’s (TPE:3514) revenues fell by 18.58% and 0.6% over October, accordingly. In Neo Solar’s case, this monthly decline is mainly due to a one-off effect from a solar farm sale which caused October revenues to jump, it noted.

Looking forward, Taiwan's number one for 2014, Neo Solar, said it is optimistic about the market outlook for the months to come, mainly thanks to the aggressive solar policies in China, the US, Japan, India and many emerging markets. Consequently, it is gearing up for a “future revenue growth momentum”, according to a press release.
Last year, companies in Taiwan sold over 10 GW of solar cells, marking a 20% year-on-year increase, according to data by local research firm EnergyTrend. Neo Solar was responsible for 22% of that, while Motech and Gintech ranked second and third with 16% and 15% shares, accordingly.
