December 6 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) said on Thursday it has supplied photovoltaic (PV) modules with a total capacity of 132 MW in direct current (DC) for a project in the US state of Nevada.

Swinerton Renewable Energy (SRE), which acts as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the Techren Solar 1 plant in Boulder City, has chosen JinkoSolar’s products for that project.

More specifically, SRE has ordered more than 350,000 of JinkoSolar's 1,500-V mono PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) modules, a company statement says.

The particular solar park, located in the Eldorado Valley Energy Zone, will be selling power to the Nevada Power Corporation under a 25-year contract.
