Japan's ImageONE acquires 1-MW PV plant

April 12 (Renewables Now) - Japanese healthcare and geo-solutions provider ImageONE Co Ltd has recently agreed the acquisition of a 1-MW photovoltaic (PV) plant.

Due to a confidentiality agreement with the seller, ImageOne cannot disclose details such as the seller and the plant's name and the acquisition price.

The Japanese firm said that the deal, which is expected to be completed this month, concerns a power plant located in Chiba prefecture and operational since October 2015. ImageONE plans to outsource the management and operation of this and future solar power plants it may acquire.

According to the other details given in the press release, the solar facility is selling power at JPY 40 (USD 0.36/EUR 0.32) per kWh, and it has an expected annual revenue from sale of electricity of approximately JPY 52 million.
