Japanese information technology (IT) company G Three Holdings Corp announced on Thursday it is selling minority stakes in two solar plants with a combined capacity of 98 MW to local company Sun Life Corp.
The buyer is taking 16.7% stakes in each of Sendai Taiyoko Center GK and Sendai Kamiayashi Daini GK, the special purpose companies responsible for the plants. The value of the deals were not disclosed due to a confidentiality agreement, G Three said.
After the completion of these transactions, the firm will retain a 33.3% stake in each plant. The remaining 50% will continue to be in the hands of Japanese firm Uniroot.

G Three's subsidiary Eco-Techno Service will be in charge of the operation and maintenance (O&M) services while the solar module supplier and the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor were not mentioned.
