US solar and electric mobility infrastructure firm iSun Inc (NASDAQ:ISUN) has received a contract worth USD 29.3 million (EUR 25.9m) to deploy off-grid solar canopies at electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The job includes the design and delivery of 1,780 canopies in total, starting with 450 systems this year.
“iSun has built a platform capable of addressing the needs of each segment of the solar industry, which includes serving the EV infrastructure demands of our new and current customers,” said Jeffrey Peck, chairman and CEO of the company.
This latest contract expands the backlog of iSun’s Commercial segment from USD 9.6 million to USD 38.9 million. It is the company’s largest EV infrastructure job to date.
