Ørsted wants all suppliers to use 100% renewable power by 2025
Aug 10, 2022 18:04 CESTNovember 29 (Renewables Now) - US solar and electric mobility infrastructure firm iSun Inc (NASDAQ:ISUN) has agreed to buy a minority stake of an undisclosed value in commercial solar developer Encore Renewable Energy.
With this move, iSun seeks to speed up the expansion of its commercial, industrial and utility businesses into new geographies and to secure collaboration opportunities across both parties’ project pipelines.
Burlington, Vermont-based Encore specialises in the design, development, financing, permitting and construction of solar and energy storage projects on landfills, brownfields, rooftops and carports.
"This new infusion of capital from iSun will allow us to more than double our project development pipeline over the next 12 months," said Chad Farrell, CEO and founder of Encore Renewable Energy.
