Israel's Noy Fund buys stake in 421-MW PV portfolio in Spain

February 13 (Renewables Now) - Israel’s Noy Infrastructure & Energy Investment Fund has acquired a majority stake in a 421-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio in Spain from UK’s Hive Energy and White Light Energy.

The portfolio contains two projects, Olmedilla and Sabinar, which are currently under development in Cuenca province, in Spain’s Castile-La Mancha region, Noy Fund’s legal advisor Watson Farley & Williams said.

Financial details on the transaction have not been disclosed.

Noy Fund has been involved with several renewable energy projects in Israel. The latest transaction marks the fund’s first investment in the Spanish market.
