US firm Innovative Solar Systems (ISS) is selling 250 MW of large-scale shovel-ready solar projects, which it will present to interested buyers at the Intersolar North America event this week.
The separate projects have capacities of between 5 MW and 80 MW. All purchase power agreements (PPAs), interconnection agreements, zoning approvals and system designs have been concluded. ISS is inviting investors to discuss terms and conditions.
The solar energy company also has more than 1 GW of photovoltaic (PV) park projects in early development in 12 US states.
In the first quarter of 2015, the US' PV capacity expanded by total of 1,306 MW. This included 225 MW in the non-residential segment and 644 MW of utility-scale parks. For the full 2015, the country is expected to install 7.9 GW of solar PV capacity, according to GTM Research and Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).
