India's Ujaas to work on 20-MW-plus PV projects under new deals

Indian solar power company Ujaas Energy Ltd (BOM:533644) announced on Thursday it has received a number of contracts for domestic projects that will add over 20 MW of photovoltaic (PV) capacity.
The company said it got a Letter of Allocation from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the implementation of a grid-connected rooftop solar PV project on government buildings in different states, totalling 20.03 MW.
In addition, Ujaas received a Letter of Award from Oil India Ltd (BOM:533106) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work on a 500-kW solar project at a pump station in the state of Assam.
Also, the company secured a contract from West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA) for the installation of 150 grid-connected rooftop PV arrays, each of 10-kW capacity, in West Bengal.
