India's NTPC completes 20 MW of solar capacity in Gujarat

Indian government-run energy company NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) announced over the weekend the successful commissioning of a 20-MW solar park in the state of Gujarat.
Specifically, the company has declared the commercial operation of the first portion of the 56-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Kawas.
Over the past couple of months, the company also announced the successful commissioning of the final 80 MW of the 160-MW Jetsar solar PV project in Rajasthan and the first 22 MW of the 92-MW Kayamkulam floating solar project in Kerala.
NTPC said that the latest addition increases its standalone installed and commercial capacity to 54,616.68 MW. At the same time, the group installed and commercial capacity has reached 68,981.68 MW and 68,321.68 MW, respectively.
