March 22 (Renewables Now) - Impact Investment Group (IIG) is seeking to award an operation and maintenance (O&M) contract for the 14.4-MW Swan Hill solar park in Victoria, Australia, and is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) as part of the selection process.

The Australian investment funds manager said it is targeting an initial five-year O&M term with a five-year extension option. The EOI submission deadline is April 5. Shortlisted contractors will be notified by April 18 and a contract will be signed by June 28.

The Swan Hill Solar Farm Project (SHSF), with a direct current (DC) capacity of 19.28 MWp, reached completion in the middle of July 2018. RCR Tomlinson was in charge of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). The solar power plant uses a Nextracker single axis tracker system and SMA Sunny Central 2500MVA inverters.

The photovoltaic (PV) park is one of the seed assets in an IIG renewables fund.
