(SeeNews) - Nov 12, 2013 - Hydrous ethanol prices at Brazil's fuel stations decreased in 10 states and in the federal district of Brasilia and rose in 16 states in the four weeks ended November 8, according to data released by Brazil's oil industry watchdog ANP.<br /> In Sao Paulo, the price of ethanol rose slightly by 0.17% to BRL 1.8 (USD 0.8/EUR 0.6) per litre, but its price is still more more competitive than petrol (gasoline). The highest increase in prices of 5.21% was registered in the southern Parana state, while the biggest drop of 1.52% was seen in northeastern Bahia state, ANP added.<br /> Ethanol continued to be more competitive than petrol only in the states of Goias, Mato Grosso, Parana and Sao Paulo states.
