HSH Nordbank help finance 108 MWp of French solar parks
Aug 11, 2014 - German lender HSH Nordbank AG said on Thursday it is providing EUR 112.5 million (USD 150.6m) in long-term project financing for 108.1 MWp of French solar parks developed by renewable energy group GP Joule.
More specifically, HSH Nordbank is lending EUR 58.5 million for the 57.3-MWp Aquitaine portfolio and an additional EUR 54 million for the 50.8-MWp Biscaya portfolio. These include a total of 11 solar farms located in France’s Aquitaine region.
HSH Nordbank acted as the lead arranger of the project financing.
In addition to solar projects, Germany-based GP Joule also develops wind and biomass schemes. The group's solar plants are located in Germany, France and Italy.
