(SeeNews) - Dec 14, 2012 - German public-sector bank HSH Nordbank said Thursday it has provided the bulk of EUR-113-million (USD 148m) in financing for the 40-MW Pompogne solar park in France.
The Pompogne park, built by German general contractor GP Joule, is among France's largest, supplying power to about 11,000 households.
The solar farm is located in France's Aquitaine region, near Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast.
HSH Nordbank transferred the funds to investment company Aquila Capital, which owns the solar park.
