Hevel to install 480 MW of additional solar plants by end-2020

Russian photovoltaics (PVs) manufacturer Hevel Group expects to build and commission an additional 25 solar parks in Russia and Kazakhstan with a combined capacity of 480 MW by the end of 2020.
Hevel anticipates adding 123 MW in the Russian republics of Kalmykia and Adygea, as well as in the Krasnodar region, and deploy 75 MW in Siberia, more specifically in the Republic of Buryatia and Omsk region. About 25 MW are planned for the Saratov region.
This month, the company will commission its 100-MW Nura solar plant in North Kazakhstan, while in the south of the country it plans to complete a total of 164.9 MW throughout the year.
Currently, Hevel operates over 600 MW of solar power generating capacity in Russia.
