PV tower developer Three Sixty Solar debuts on Canadian bourse
Aug 15, 2022 17:20 CESTJuly 18 (Renewables Now) - HBS New Energies has installed the first system under a 30-MWp solar power purchase agreement (PPA) programme with Anglian Water, it announced on Wednesday.
The water supply company has awarded the solar programme to HBS as it looks to achieve significant electricity and carbon savings at its operational sites in the East of England. HBS will install several photovoltaic PV systems across Anglian Water’s portfolio, with each one ranging in size from 200 kWp to 15 MWp.
Macquarie Principal Finance will be funding the installation of those solar assets, while HBS will take care of the design, installation and operation of the plants. The company deployed solar arrays for Anglian Water at the Hall Water Treatment Works in Lincolnshire and Water Recycling Centres in Witham and Rayleigh in 2016.
