Greek-based PPC Renewables SA has extended to June 26 the final date for submitting bids in a tender for the construction of a 30-MW wind farm in central Greece.
The company, a unit of Greek utility PPC SA (ATH:PPC), announced the deadline extension in a notice on its website. The tender, itself, was initiated on May 9.
Through the competitive selection PPC Renewables is seeking a party to design, procure, transport, install and commission the wind farm in Aeras, Mouzaki municipality and Afentiko, Argitheas municipality, along with a 400/20 kV high-voltage substation.
The total indicative cost of the contract is EUR 43.15 million (USD 50.9m), plus value added tax (VAT). Operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the facilities are also part of the deal.
PPC Renewables is also awaiting bids in a tender for the provision of O&M services for the small hydropower plants Glafkos, Smokovo and Papadia in Greece. The deadline in this tender is June 25.
