Spanish manufacturer Gonvarri Solar Steel said on Tuesday that it has signed a contract to supply 102 MW of its trackers for a pair of solar projects in Spain.
The package was ordered by Spanish construction company Obrascon Huarte Lain SA (BME:OHLA), also known as OHLA.
The arrangement will see Gonvarri Solar Steel supply its TracSmarT + 1V single- and dual-row trackers for the two projects. One of them will be a 50-MW and the other a 52-MW solar farm. Together, they will be equipped with a total of 2,754 solar trackers and 156,544 panels, the tracker maker said.
