Goldpoly to annually supply 100 MW of PV cells to CTDC
(ADPnews) - Nov 11, 2010 - Chinese photovoltaic (PV) cells maker Goldpoly International Ltd will supply solar power solutions provider China Technology Development Group Corp (NASDAQ:CTDC) with a minimum of 100 MW of PV cells a year, under a long-term cooperation deal.
The deal is expected to bolster the competitiveness of both companies, CTDC said in a statement on Wednesday. It will also help CTDC cut production expenses of PV modules and thus enhance its profit margin.
Under the terms of the agreement, from the start of 2011 Goldpoly will provide high-quality polycrystalline PV cells to CTDC at the lowest market prices. "We are confident to cooperate with Goldpoly successfully to build up the vertically integrated PV chain" CTDC chairman and chief executive Alan Li said.
