Glintt to launch EUR 4m PV plant in Evora in 2012 - report
Oct 10, 2011 - Portuguese firm Glintt - Global Intelligent Technologies (ELI:GLINT) is investing EUR 4 million (USD 5.4m) in a photovoltaic (PV) plant, planned to start operations in 2012.
The plant, located in the country's southern town of Evora will have installed capacity of 1 MW and will comprise of 2,880 solar panels, Glintt CEO Manuel Mira Godinho told economic daily Diario Economico as reported this morning.
The entire output of the plant will be sold to Portuguese power utility EDP (ELI:EDP).
The project is developed by the fully owned subsidiary Glintt Energy, based in Evora. The construction works started a year ago.
