Ghenova to take part in 115-MW wind farm construction in Brazil
(SeeNews) – Aug 28, 2014 – Ghenova Brasil, the Brazilian unit of Spanish engineering and consultancy firm Ghenova, will provide technical assistance in the construction of a 115-MW wind complex in the country's Northeastern region.
The complex will include 59 wind turbines spread in four parks, Ghenova Brasil said at the Brazil Windpower 2014 fair, without providing additional details.
Ghenova Brasil’s portfolio includes projects with an installed capacity of 300 MW in the Latin American country. Since 2012 the company has been offering consulting and multidisciplinary engineering services to the sector such as viability and environmental impact studies, design and construction management, among others.
Ghenova Brasil is participating in the fifth edition of Brazil Windpower conference and exhibition event taking place between August 26-28, 2014 in Rio de Janeiro. The potential for wind power in the country is estimated at 300 GW.
