German high-tech manufacturing software solutions provider camLine GmbH will supply its InFrame Synapse manufacturing execution system (MES) for a 300-MW thin-film copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) module factory in China.
The company said Monday that it will do so under a deal with state-owned China National Building Materials (CNBM). The InFrame solution will be used at the customer’s production plant in Anhui province, which is due for completion in 2017.
Specific details on the contract were not provided.
Building materials company CNBM recently unveiled that it plans to build PV module manufacturing facilities at home with a combined annual production capacity of over 15,000 MW. The firm intends to expand its Anhui CIGS plant to 1,500 MW in the future.
In 2014, CNBM bought German CIGS manufacturer Avancis GmbH. The latter uses camLine’s InFrame MES at its thin-film factory in Torgau, Germany.
