Aug 6, 2013 - German photovoltaic (PV) module maker Solar-Fabrik (ETR:SFX) said on Monday it has sealed an alliance with PV distributor Rusol to use its channels for selling its premium PV product line.
The partnership was established earlier in July and the companies have already made the necessary adjustments to their structures.
Rusol has even launched a summer promotional offer on 5 kW to 10 kW solar packages with Solar-Fabrik's modules combined with inverters from local manufacturer Kostal Solar Electric.
The premium-line modules are manufactured at Solar-Fabrik facility in Freiburg, which has a capacity of 210. The company also imports PV modules from foreign producers.
Rusol is a subsidiary of German electronic components distributor Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente but operates independently on the European market, using Rutronik's extensive distribution system. The distributor partners with leading solar manufacturers such as Samsung, Chinese Trina and Yingli and Japanese Kyocera.
