German firm to sell GDT Tek's waste heat-to-power units in Asia

Dec 28, 2012 - US renewable energy technology firm GDT Tek Inc (OTC:GDTK) said Thursday it had awarded a contract to German IS Consulting GmbH to manage the sales of its waste heat-to-power products on the Middle East and Far East Asian markets.

Customers from a country in Asia have shown interest in the Phoenix waste heat-to-power units of the company, its president Bo Linton said. He did not cite any names due to confidential issues. GDT Tek will carry out detailed negotiations in February and announce details subsequently, it said.

In October GDT Tek said it would start selling its Phoenix units to end-customers at home and abroad in response to increased purchase inquiries. At the time it hired US public relations firm The Nabors Group to promote the products in the US.
