German Degerenergie to supply trackers to largest Estonian solar park

(SeeNews) – Aug 31, 2012 - German solar tracking systems maker Degerenergie GmbH said today it will supply the largest solar park in Estonia with 11 of its 9 kW NT DEGERtraker systems.

The new 100 kW park in Voru, southern Estonia, was constructed and will be operated by Degerenergie's local partner Energy Smart.

A 70% stake in the park is held by the Estonian government, which is aiming to become independent from Russian electricity supply.

Energy Smart plans to put the new solar park in operation within a few weeks.
