French Loos-en-Gohelle opens tender for PV installations

July 11 (Renewables Now) - French Loos-en-Gohelle,  a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the north of France, has announced a EUR 1.2 million (USD 1.4m) tender for photovoltaic (PV) plants installation.

The commune is looking to award a concession contract  to company ready to finance, install, operate and maintain roof-top PV systems, installed on buildings that are communal property.

Remuneration of the selected contractor will be assured via the income from sale of generated electricity and the deadline for applications is August 7, 2018 at noon.

The Loos-en-Gohelle commune has identified solar power as a priority axis for its energy strategy and will seek to award the concession for 360 months.
