Portugal's Greenvolt posts 43% y/y jump in Q1 profit
May 25, 2022 9:12 CESTFebruary 27 (Renewables Nows) - ForeFront Power, a fully-owned subsidiary of Japanese diversified group Mitsui & Co Ltd (TYO:8031), and HOLT Renewables have completed a rooftop solar system consisting of 792 photovoltaic (PV) panels at a brewery in Colorado.
The solar array was installed at Breckenridge Brewery's facility in Littleton. It will generate 433,280 kWh annually, equal to 20% of the annual power consumption of Breckenridge Brewery. The system will also save 675,500 pounds (297 tonnes) of carbon dioxide (CO2) a year.
This is the latest sustainable initiative by Breckenridge Brewery. The project is also part of a programme by Brewers Collective, the craft business unit of brewing company Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC, to source 100% of electricity from solar and wind by the end of 2020 at its craft partner locations.
