PV tower developer Three Sixty Solar debuts on Canadian bourse
Aug 15, 2022 17:20 CESTOctober 6 (Renewables Now) - EOS Investment Management (EOS IM) has agreed to sell a 32-MW portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind parks in Italy to Prejeance Industrial, a French renewables investor backed by Asterion Industrial Partners.
Under the terms of the deal, Prejeance Industrial will buy the bundle of 27 assets for an enterprise value of about EUR 80 million (USD 93m). The plants in question were switched on in the period 2008-2014 and have an estimated annual generation of 64 GWh, which is enough to cater to the annual energy consumption of 24,000 homes.
According to Edouard Fabry, managing director of Prejeance Industrial, this is the firm’s first transaction in Italy.
Presently, the plants being sold are part of EOS Investment Management’s first infrastructure fund, which acquired 65 MW of solar and wind farms between 2014 and 2018. Last December, the company also launched the EOS Renewable Infrastructure Fund II, which focuses on renewable energy and technologies mainly through greenfield projects with a current portfolio exceeding 85 MW.
