EnterSolar wraps up second solar project in New Jersey for Dykes Lumber

(SeeNews) - Dec 12, 2011 - US commercial solar system integrator EnterSolar said last week it had installed a 192.5-kW solar power system in the US state of New Jersey for its partner lumber and building materials firm Dykes Lumber Co.

The company has previously built a 360-kW solar system at a Dykes facility in Weehawken, New Jersey.

The 192.5-kW installation was constructed on the roof of Dykes' new plant in Aberdeen, New Jersey. It is estimated to generate more than 200,000 kWh a year, enough to meet the needs of 25 local households. In its 25 lifetime, the system is to save over 6 million pounds (2,700 tonnes) of carbon dioxide emissions, EnterSolar calculates.
