Enfindus to use SolarEdge equipment for 1-GW European solar portfolio

February 6 (Renewables Now) - Israel-based SolarEdge Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SEDG) will provide smart energy products and solutions to solar investor Enfindus so it could install 1 GW of photovoltaic (PV) systems in Europe.

The equipment will be used for rooftop PV projects which Enfindus will finance, build and operate for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.

Under the terms of the four-year agreement, SolarEdge will deliver inverters, power optimisers and other equipment. The value of the contract was not disclosed.

Enfindus’s plan is to offer corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs) to rooftop owners, the announcement says. The company’s overall goal is to build and operate a 1-GW portfolio in Europe by 2025.
