PV tower developer Three Sixty Solar debuts on Canadian bourse
Aug 15, 2022 17:20 CESTMarch 9 (Renewables Now) - Italian utility group Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Spanish lender Banco Santander SA (BME:SAN) to design and finance customised turnkey clean energy projects.
According to the MoU terms, the partnership will focus on solar and lithium battery solutions, as well as energy efficiency upgrades, for households, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporations.
"Sustainability as a business choice can only be pursued through innovation, which is at the core of this agreement," said Enel Group CFO Alberto De Paoli.
Enel is taking part through its advanced energy services business line Enel X Global Retail, while the bank will also be active with Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB), its global division that supports corporate and institutional clients.
Santander will develop tailored financing options.
