Bank of America signs 160-MW solar power deal with Constellation
Jun 24, 2022 14:37 CESTMay 27 (Renewables Now) - Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME:ELE) said today that it has signed a ten-year electricity supply contract with supermarket chain Consum that incorporates a power purchase agreement (PPA) and renewable energy certificates.
Under the PPA, Consum procured 75 MW of solar energy coming from the portfolio of Endesa’s renewables unit Enel Green Power Espana. The contracted volume will cover around 50% of Consum’s demand for electricity.

The second part of the contract specifies the supply of renewable energy certified with guarantees of origin to meet the remaining 50% of Consum's demand, Endesa said.
The supply contract will be effective January 1, 2023.
