Croatia's net electricity output down 5.6% y/y in April – table
Jun 24, 2022 18:49 CESTMay 19 (Renewables Now) - Spanish solar energy group Energia, Innovacion y Desarrollo Fotovoltaico SA (BME:EIDF) has closed a contract to install a 998-kWp solar array for domestic meat products company Estirpe Negra.
EiDF, which specialises in solar self-consumption, will install once such system at the customer's meat processing plant in the Spanish region of Extremadura.
The project will entail the installation of 1,848 solar modules on land near the plant. EiDF expects the array to be capable of generating over 2.14 million kWh.
Thanks to the new panels, Estirpe Negra's meat production facilities will be able to satisfy around 32% of their needs for power.
